Secret History of the Credit Card

Thanks to Ezra Klein for linking to this article by Robin Stein on Frontline’s website about the "Ascendancy of the Credit Card."  It’s an interesting read about the development of the industry.  It's especially worthwhile now, given that one of the next features of this wonderful financial meltdown will certainly be a consumer credit squeeze and lots of bankrupt credit card holders.
