A whopping voter turnout at my polling place this morning…. Usually, when I vote at 6 AM in New York City’s West Village, I'm there with the poll workers and one or two other voters. Today (I have cell phone video which I hope to post later), there were literally hundreds of voters lined up at 6:10 AM. Hundreds. The polling place was run very efficiently by a team of election officials, led by a woman who organized voters outside into ten or so lines, each by Election District, which were moved inside in groups of five to eight at a time to voting machines.
Amazing turnout. And this, in a state without a doubt not in the ‘swing’ category…
