Some events call out for investigation; this is one. So many questions are begging to be answered…about torture, withholding evidence, obstructing the 9/11 Commission, lying to the Federal courts, and on, and on...
And yet, the answers we get are: President Bush “has no recollection of being made aware of the tapes or their destruction” before this week.
Does this remind anyone of the kind of answers we'd hear at early 1970's press conferences about Watergate?
