The October November surprise is coming due— and Will Bunch has some thoughts to share about the nexus between “Number 3 Guys” in Al Qaeda and drummers in “This is Spinal Tap.”
Ever wonder how we keep getting the “Number 3 Guy” in Al Qaeda?
Ever wonder why the drummers always die in "This is Spinal Tap?"
Ever wonder how we always know he’s the “Number 3 Guy?”
This exchange Bunch cites on Fox should be instructional. Bush knows who the “Number 3 Guy” is at all times, since he’s focused deadeye on Al Qaeda, right?
HANNITY: How important is getting Usama bin Laden in the
war on terror?
BUSH: Well, it's important, and that's why we're after him every
single day. But so is getting Zawahiri important, and so is getting
the number-three guy, whoever he is, when they pop up. You
know, we've got this guy, Zarqawi…
The “Number 3 Guy” appears to be pretty much whoever we catch or kill. They get posthumously promoted. Never Number 4 or 5, that wouldn’t seem important enough… but since we all know who Number 1 and 2 are, he can never be higher than 3.
We’re about due for the Saddam verdict this week, too. Maybe he could be the “Number 3 Guy” this week… as a guest appearance with Al Qaeda.
… We’ll see if the Rove GOTV and “Scare out the vote” machines are still hitting on all cylinders in the next few days. Buckle up.
