Many employers and businesses are huge users of wasted energy and polluting vehicles. Despite anything you do at home, business activities and their consequences will have far more effect on the environment than you and your family’s energy policy ever will.

If management actually thought through their policies, abuses would stop, since they usually end up costing the business enormously in the long run. If your employer engages in activities that cause accelerated climate change, why not speak up? Expressing ideas that save energy and reduce emissions might actually make you look like an employee with potential!

jr- As you suggest, this idea isn't going to work in an atmosphere of fear. It's a suggestion for people who have a little security in their jobs and the respect of their employers.
