Idea #4- Buy/Drive a Fuel-Efficient Car
The driving public in the United States gets much worse mileage than drivers in many countries. Is your car a guzzler? How about taking a trip to the auto dealer and saving some money? With gas prices only going higher in the coming years, you’ll be doing yourself a favor as well as fighting global warming.
If you’re a New Yorker like me, or live in a congested city, another benefit is that fuel-efficient cars are easier to park (they're smaller, but hey, it’s something). But then, if you’re a New Yorker, why own a car at all? Parking is a nightmare in the first place!
Getting a few extra miles per gallon makes a big difference. Save thousands of lbs. of CO2 each year with your fuel-efficient car.
Peugot was selling a 72-mpg automobile in 1983. Documentation is located www.byronwine.com in #7. For videos of six automobiles fueled with the components of water see #13-V on that page.

Great 10 ideas of saving the planet. I like to further add that another good thing that comes out from saving the planet is that we are saving money too in the long run.
