« Edwards To Run Until the Convention | Main | A Nomination Race About Issues? »

N.H. Keeps the Issues Alive

I second Kevin Drum- I'm happy with the surprising Democratic result in New Hampshire tonight. It’s not so much that I like Hillary, which is not so much the case. It’s more that I think it’s important to see these candidates over a longer haul—and I believe the Clinton victory will stretch the nomination race out some. Maybe we’ll see the Democrats begin to parse the issues a bit more— before one of the top three candidates have it sewn up.

That would be great for the country... to actually address questions of war. peace, inequality, healthcare, housing, climate change, energy, civil rights, and education, just to name a few. So yes, the New Hampshire surprise for Clinton is a good thing, in my book.

See Memeorandum for discussion.
